Absence – “The state of being away from a place or person”

Absence is evident anywhere and everywhere in times like this. In the absence of humans, these rendered ghosts, wander around in our imagination in these architectural structures. Travelers and tourists are not within our sight, evoking a sense of absence and emptiness in Singapore Changi Airport. To fill this emptiness and void, these rendered ghosts take on the roles of the travelers ensuring a familiarity in our sight. These pieces put together a journey of the unknown ‘beings’ living within the sanctuary of Singapore Changi Airport.
